New emergency care guidelines include dramatic changes to CPR and emphasis on chest compressions, according to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada

The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) oversees Ontario's workplace safety education and training system, provides disability benefits, monitors the quality of health care, and assists in early and safe return to work.

On Scene Rescue

    Our Standard First Aid Course takes 14 to 16 hours to complete. Each course can be tailored to fit our clients specific needs and it includes a CPR Basic Rescuer certification. Upon completion each student will receive a Student Book, Wall Certificate and a Wallet Card. This course has to be re-certified every 2 years, and a complete course taken every 4 years. Re-certification is an 8 hour course, and a Wall Certificate and a Wallet Card will be issued upon course completion. The CPR portion should be renewed annually. Course size is 8 to 12 students per instructor.

Our Emergency First Aid Course takes 8 hours to complete. Each course can be tailored to fit our clients specific needs and it includes a Heart Saver CPR certification. Upon completion each student will receive a Student Book, Wall Certificate and a Wallet Card. This course has to be re-certified every 2 years. The CPR portion should be renewed annually. Course size is 8 to 12 students per instructor.
